These terms apply to CleanDev and CleanDev Lite, made by Akaya Labs. By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded CleanDev Lite from the Mac App Store, Apple’s Standard License Agreement also applies.
What the app does
CleanDev finds files that developer tools leave on your Mac and removes the ones you choose. Some items are deleted directly, some are moved to the Trash, and simulator content is reset with Apple’s own tool. The app shows which method it will use before you confirm.
You decide what is removed
CleanDev keeps items that are in use and marks others for review, but you choose what to clean. Items deleted directly cannot be restored by the app. Keep backups of anything important; the safety rules lower the risk of a mistake but are not a replacement for a backup.
License
You may use CleanDev on Macs you own or control. You may not resell it, or copy, modify or reverse engineer it except where the law allows. The direct-download version is licensed per purchase as described at checkout.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Akaya Labs is not liable for lost data, lost time or other indirect damage from using it.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top is updated.
